Hi, I'm Dan.

I'm based in Berlin and Head of Product at [Avail](https://availproject.org/), a spin-off from Polygon focused on helping developers build scalable blockchain networks and applications that tap into users, liquidity, and functionality across chains.

Before that I led identity and other products at Square and Mozilla, working on the Firefox browser and projects like [Mozilla Persona](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Persona) and [Firefox Sync](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefox_Sync). Earlier in my career I worked at Ximian building open-source software for Linux.

Along the way I also founded a cooking makerspace in San Francisco — because I'm a food nerd at heart.
